Under Title I, Part A of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), our schools are committed to building strong partnerships with families to improve student academic achievement. Research consistently shows that when families are actively engaged in their child’s education, students earn higher grades, attend school more regularly, and develop stronger social-emotional skills.
Family engagement is not about doing everything — it’s about doing small, consistent things that show your child that education matters.
