What we expect of every Wolverine.

Two things shape how students carry themselves here: The Wolverine Way, our seven schoolwide expectations, and Dress for Success, our monthly professional dress day.

Schoolwide expectations

The Wolverine Way.

Seven expectations that apply everywhere at Ault — classroom, hallway, cafeteria, bus. They are taught, practiced, and celebrated through our PBIS program.

Respect

  • Treat yourself and others with dignity.
  • Value differences.
  • Care for school property.

Responsibility

  • Be on time and prepared.
  • Complete assignments.
  • Accept accountability for your choices.

Integrity

  • Be honest.
  • Do the right thing, even when no one is watching.
  • Demonstrate academic honesty.

Self-Management

  • Regulate emotions.
  • Stay organized.
  • Make positive decisions and solve problems appropriately.

Perseverance

  • Stay engaged when learning is challenging.
  • Learn from mistakes.
  • Set goals and keep improving.

Communication

  • Listen actively.
  • Speak respectfully.
  • Work effectively with peers and adults.

Safety

  • Make responsible choices.
  • Help create a physically and emotionally safe school.

Dress for Success.

One day a month, students dress the part — because how you show up is part of how you lead.

The first school day of each month Professional dress is suggested, not required — no student is excluded for taking part or sitting out. Watch the parent newsletter for the exact date each month.
Look professional Wear clean, neat, school-appropriate attire.
Show respect Your appearance shows respect for yourself and others.
Be prepared Dress for success and be ready to learn and lead.
Represent Represent Ault Academy with Wolverine pride.

Professional dress guidelines

The guidelines below were issued for boys. Girls are encouraged to take part in professional dress as well — contact the front office for guidance.

Collared shirts Polos or button-downs
Dress pants Khaki, black, or navy
Belts Worn with dress pants Required
Dress shoes Closed-toe, clean footwear
Blazers Adds a sharp finish Optional
Ties Any school-appropriate style Optional
