School Improvement Plan (SIP)
One way in which Ault Academy is working to achieve goals is through the School Improvement Plan — a unique plan, refined annually, that defines our school’s targeted work to raise achievement for all of its students. These plans are the driving force behind the theory of change in our district’s strategic framework.
Schoolwide Plan (SWP)
Our Schoolwide Plan defines the strategies we use to upgrade our educational program. Its primary goal is to ensure that all students — particularly those who are low-achieving — demonstrate proficient and advanced levels of achievement on state academic standards.
PBIS
PBIS stands for Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports — an initiative started to help schools successfully educate all students, especially those with challenging behaviors.
Research shows that when a school environment is positive and predictable, students feel safer, have better academic performance and higher test results, and make better behavior choices. By providing that environment at Ault, we work to increase those behaviors further by rewarding students who meet their goals with PBIS celebrations.
Our seven schoolwide expectations — The Wolverine Way — are what students are taught, practiced on, and celebrated for.
