TCSS Tailgate

On October 9, 2018, Troup County School System hosted a tailgate to honor our Partners-in-Education (P.I.E.).
Partners-in-Education have become vital components in thousands of school districts across the nation, working together to strengthen the educational process through collaborative relationships. A partnership is a mutually supportive arrangement between business and a school or school district, in which partners commit to specific goals and activities intended to enhance educational opportunities to benefit students.
Each of our PIE partners are unique because it is based on the needs of the school and the resources the PIE can offer. The common thread is a commitment to students and learning.
Ault Academy got a chance to show our appreciation to our P.I.E.s, with special attention to American Home Shield who has provided resources for our school store, PBIS celebrations, as well as other instructional resources.
To show our appreciation, we had the students to enter a contest that allowed them to compete to create the best t-shirt to represent Ault Academy at the tailgate. With our new shirts on, Ault Academy teachers and staff definitely represented our students well by showing up in numbers and providing a great chant that fully embodied our mission and purpose.
